Also known as “European bistort”, this adaptogenic aquatic plant ranges from 20 to 80 cm in height. Our purple ginseng extract is derived from the plant’s roots and is known for its ability to balance the scalp. It also has antioxidant and energizing properties.

Our selected purple ginseng comes from Poland, where it is harvested under a sustainable gathering scheme to ensure the ongoing viability of the species. The harvesters are educated on sustainable collection management and are careful to maintain the right quantities of the plant in its natural habitat to preserve the species.
